Oshi no Ko Manga Chapter 158 Spoilers: Ruby Gets Stabbed

As Oshi no Ko is reaching its end, the plot throws in unexpected turn of events. Chapter 158 was expected to reveal more about B-Komachi’s live concert or either about Kana or Akane.

The spoilers of the upcoming Oshi no Ko manga Chapter 158 are here. The last chapter gave us homely scenes of Aqua and Ruby as they had a day off. They enquired each other about their professions and decided to give a surprise dinner to Miyako. But they fell asleep in the process. It seems like the new chapter is taking an unexpected turn.

The chapter starts with Fuyuko Niino as she watches B-Komachi’s live concert in Miyazaki. She is enraged as she finds Ruby as a capable idol who can surpass Ai even though she is Ai’s daughter.

The panel then moves on to show the backstage where Anemone congratulates Mem-Cho for making a lively show. The latter was surprised to find Anemone in the concert. Whereas Anemone was happy to see Mem in Miyazaki.

Akane and Ruby

The chapter then shows a conversation between Akane and Ruby. Ruby asks Akane why she visited the performance in Miyazaki when a live performance was scheduled for Tokyo. Akane answered that she was in Miyazaki for some work and she stopped by. She also said that she couldn’t make it to the Tokyo Concert as she had some things to do.

Ruby remembers that the Tokyo performance is on the same day as Christmas. She suspects that Akane might have got a boyfriend and had things planned for Christmas day. But that was just her suspicion.

Ruby asks Akane if she wants to call over Kana, which Akane turns down. Akane reveals her perspective on seeing Kana as an idol. Even though it’s fun to see Kana dressed cutely as a model, Akane could never accept her as one. Despite her feelings, she says that it is wonderful to see Kana embrace herself as an idol.

Ruby explains what an idol’s life is. She says that being an idol is not something that one can do forever, no matter how hard they work. It comes with the harsh demands of age. She compares it to a flower that blooms rather than a gem that shines forever. This was why idols try to become a memory for people so that they will be remembered after their death.

Is Ruby Stabbed?

The panel then shows a phone conversation between Niino and Kamiki. Kamiki can be seen suggesting that they should maybe confess their crimes to the police hoping for forgiveness. But Niino disagrees. Niino starts blaming Ai as she must be the greatest idol. She believed that no one capable of surpassing Ai should exist, even if it were her daughter.

A panel shows Crow Girl as she stands on a shore thinking about humanity and its feelings like love, especially when they are willing to take lives for it.

The chapter shows a panel of Christmas day, the last day of B-Komachi’s live tour. This was also Kana’s final day of idol performance. But the panel shows Rubi getting stabbed, just like Ai, by a culprit who looks so much like Fuyuka Niino.
