Aqua texts Kana, asking him to meet her after school. Kana is initially excited but then is disappointed when she learns Ruby wants to meet her to recruit her. Kana notices Ruby’s resemblance to Ai but doesn’t agree to join. Aqua persuades her to join by calling her cute and insisting she is perfect for the role.
Despite her reluctance, Kana signs a contract with Strawberry Productions to work alongside Aqua. Aqua tells Miyako that he manipulated Kana into joining.
Kana is surprised, however, to learn that Aqua’s next employment will be for a reality dating show, in which he will appear alongside fashion model Yuki Sumi, dancer Nobuyuki Kumano, actress Akane Kurokawa, online personality Memcho, and singer Kengo Morimoto.
Even though Aqua is acting for the program, Kana is envious of how he interacts with his female co-stars. Ruby and Kana are shocked at how charming he serves, knowing his dark nature. Yuki is interested in Aqua and flirts with him on-screen, saying she wouldn’t mind kissing him for the screen, which makes him more aware of how reality dating shows work.
Meanwhile, Miyako begins establishing Strawberry Productions’ new idol unit. She decides to make Ruby and Kana’s online debut and enlists the assistance of one of their senior internet characters, Pieyon, a masked physical trainer YouTuber.
Pieyon determines that collaborating with his established channel is the quickest method for the girls to develop a following. They do a challenging workout dance routine for an hour straight, and Ruby earns Kana’s respect by completing the entire routine. Pieyon then asks them to choose a name for their organization, and Ruby decides to resurrect B Komachi.

Oshi no Ko is a supernatural crime-solving manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020 and received an anime adaptation in 2023.
The story follows a doctor, Goro, reincarnated as his favorite idol Ai’s kid. Ai names him Aquamarine and his twin sister, a reincarnation of a patient at the hospital, Ruby. Ai is later killed by a stalker who was also responsible for Goro’s death. As Aquamarine swears revenge on the stalker for his mother’s demise, Ruby follows the same path as her mother to become an idol.
