Kana is eager to reconnect with Aqua and persuade him to return to acting. She describes having connections to legendary producer Masaya Kaburagi, whom Aqua recognizes as being on Ai’s private contact list, which he discovered on her phone. Aqua agrees to play a role to become closer to Kaburagi. Aqua gets cast as the show’s villain as Kana’s stalker, but he soon realizes that the show is of poor quality, as do Ruby and Miyako when they watch it. When Aqua questions why she hid her true talent, Kana reveals that the show casts young male models based on their looks rather than their acting ability, and she has been compelled to hold back her acting talent not to overshadow them.

Aqua and Kana arrive at the rehearsal set, a gloomy warehouse, where Aqua is introduced to an arrogant Melt Narushima, the show’s lead, and Kaburagi, the producer.
Aqua manages to gather some saliva samples from Kaburagi’s discarded cigarettes during a break in filming. He overhears that Kaburagi is merely taking advantage of Kana with no intention of improving her career. Despite receiving what he came for, Aqua decided to stay and have fun.

Oshi no Ko is a supernatural crime-solving manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020 and received an anime adaptation in 2023.
The story follows a doctor, Goro, reincarnated as his favorite idol Ai’s kid. Ai names him Aquamarine and his twin sister, a reincarnation of a patient at the hospital, Ruby. Ai is later killed by a stalker who was also responsible for Goro’s death. As Aquamarine swears revenge on the stalker for his mother’s demise, Ruby follows the same path as her mother to become an idol.
