On the 5th of September, it was announced on Twitter(X) and the official website of the anime that production of the TV anime “Maebashi Witches” is going on. Along with this, details on the cast, directors, and studio were also released.

This anime is an Original work, which means that there is no source material like a manga/manhwa/light novel from which the story is derived. The official website also provided the new key visual and trailer for the anime.

What is Maebashi Witches About?
Maebashi Witches is a story that takes place in Maebashi City of the Gunma Prefecture. The story follows Yuina Akagi and five other girls who were scouted by a mysterious frog named Keroppe to be the “Maebashi Witches”.
The five high school girls find a closet room that is connected to a bigger space, which has a magical flower shop. These witches are entrusted with the task of singing, dancing, solving people’s problems, and granting their wishes.
