We begin the third season of the anime series Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.
With Yukinoshita and Hachiman deciding to have a showdown on who can forcibly make prom happen, the loser must fulfill one request of the winner!

1. Episode 6 Release Date
Episode 6 of the My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Season 3 anime, titled “ Once Again, Hikigaya Hachiman Makes a Speech,” will be released on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
In the next episode, Hachiman and Yukinoshita make separate plans to negotiate with the anti-prom committee!

No, episode 6 of the Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru Season 3 anime will be released as per its schedule; thus, no such delay is announced.
The anime comes out weekly every Thursday.
2. Episode 6 Preview & Speculation
The preview of episode 6 narrated by Iroha, titled “Once Again, Hikigaya Hachiman Makes a Speech,” we see Iroha talking things through with Hachiman in the outdoor area school, possibly notifying him of Yukinoshita’s decision.
Hachiman offers her canned coffee as Iroha looks nervous. He gathers Yui and the rest of his friends to help him with making plans of negotiation for the prom.
Yui’s changed attitude is noticed by Hachiman, as it felt she had accepted things the way they were.
Yukinoshita has also instructed Iroha to gather the student council members to handle the preparations for prom.
The showdown between Yukinoshita and Hachiman will begin, but no matter who wins prom is set to happen! We only hope that this event does not end in heartbreak.
3. Recap of Episode 5
I. Sensei’s Advice
Episode 5, titled “Shizuka Hiratsuka Deeply Longs for the Days Past,” begins with Hachiman returning to school and discusses the troubles regarding prom, Hiratsuka sensei tells him that the school was considering to cancel the dance after the PTO interference and to do so will try to get the students to withdraw from it voluntarily.
Hachiman plays out the contrary opinion scenario swaying the students once known and the anti-prom side gaining strength in his mind.
Sensei is in awe that Hachiman is determined to make the prom happen! Sensei tells Hachiman that this was like a trial Yukinoshita imposed on herself and wondered if Hachiman should help.
She tells him about her hardships and the choices sensei had to make.
II. Hachiman’s Resolution
Hachiman leaves after deciding a plan of action and heads straight to the Student Council room, but Iroha blocks his way, she pulls him by the sleeve and the talk in a secluded area.
Hachiman tells her not to worry about his involvement, and he knew how to get his word through to Yukinoshita.
Iroha forces the reason out why Hachiman was so adamant about helping Yukinoshita, and he accurately tells her that it was his responsibility.
Iroha feels relieved and counts on Hachiman to make this work and convince Yukinoshita to let him help.
III. Hikigaya Hachiman is the only One
At the student council room, Hachiman asks Yukinoshita about her progress on solving the conflict, but she only gives him fleeting answers; despite Yukinoshita’s displeasure, he takes the matter in his hands and goes through Yukinoshita’s ideas written on the board.
Hachiman tells Yukinoshita that the PTO’s demands weren’t under normal circumstances, that they intentionally found flaws to cancel the prom.
Hachiman conveys his feeling of wanting to save her properly this time, but Yukinoshita politely refuses him.
So, he announces that he will solve this matter in his way and have a showdown with her on who can make the prom happen! They agree on the terms that the loser has to grant one wish to the winner.
What Hachiman and Yukinoshita didn’t put into words Iroha understood that this was Hachiman’s confession and put their conversation into the category of lover’s quarrel.
But in Hachiman’s absence, Iroha notices that Yukinoshita was going to put an end to things after this one last time.

The series follows Hachiman Hikigaya, a pessimistic, closeminded, and realistic teen, who is forced by his teacher to join the school’s service club and work with two girls with issues of their own.
They offer help and advice to others while dealing with their inner conflicts. The third season of this anime series follows the story where it left off in the second season.
