Season three of the OreGairu anime series is currently going on. After the prom is successfully set to happen, Hachiman and Yukinoshita move forward, giving their seniors a memorable night!

Episode 10 of the OreGairu Season 3 anime, titled “Gallantly, Shizuka Hiratsuka Moves Forward,” will be released on Thursday, September 10, at 9:43 am PDT.

2. Episode 10 Preview & Speculation
The preview of episode 10 is narrated by Hachiman and Yui, titled “Gallantly, Shizuka Hiratsuka Moves Forward.” We see Yui and Hachiman helping out Yukinoshita, and the student council oversees the prom preparations.
Kawasaki also helps with the arrangements. Various delicious dishes were placed in the food corner, and the prom decorations were ready. From the looks of it, special song performances are planned!
Hachiman and Yukinoshita were shown to discuss something under a shy demur, near the microphone stand. The graduating class dresses up in tuxes and beautiful gowns while attending the prom.
The audience’s attention was fixated upon the performances on the stage. Hachiman and Yukinoshita coordinate the event from backstage. Yui was a bit frustrated by something Yukinoshita’s mother said to Yukino.
Hachiman walks along the dark corridor at night, and Yukinoshita calls out to him after catching up with him.
Hachiman complimented the graduation ceremony in the preview, and Yui remembered that he was crying throughout the ceremony! Yui ends the preview after Hachiman begins fangirling over Meguri senpai!
3. Recap of Episode 9
I. What does Hikigaya Hachiman Wish For?
Episode 9, titled “A Whiff of that Fragrance Will Always Bring Memories of that Season,” begins with Komachi cheering up Hachiman as he had a sullen look during morning coffee.
After school, Yui and Hachiman head home together but stop at a nearby park sometime.
Hachiman gets straight to the point and asks Yui to tell him if she had any wish which she wanted him to grant. Yui hands him a list of things she wished he did like an average person, and they chat cheerfully for a while.
But Hachiman quickly begins a necessary conversation about losing the competition and tells Yui to let him grant her wish. Yui lists a few simple things she wanted and then tells Hachiman; she wants to make his wish come true.
II. The Secret Ingredient Is…?
The next morning, the service club meets in the corridor. Hachiman indirectly hears about prom from Yukinoshita. Hachiman offers to help Iroha, but Yukinoshita tells Iroha they didn’t need more workforce for technical testing.
After noticing what the two were up to, Iroha tells them that she wasn’t their interpreter. Both Hachiman and Yukinoshita grow shy and part ways.
On Saturday, Hachiman visits Yui’s house to prepare Komachi’s present! Hachiman, Yui, and her mom go through the recipe book and settle on making an exquisite fruit tart.
They buy the essentials and get started on making the tart. Hachiman and Yui complete the dessert after the trial and error process, and Hachiman packs it up.
III. The Graduation Ceremony!
While walking back home, Hachiman compliments Yui on the cookies she had given him before. In return, he gives her some of his handmade tarts as a thank you.
On the graduation day, Iroha bids her seniors goodbye with a farewell address! Hachiman gets teary during Meguri senpai’s speech, and the graduating students get fired up enjoying the ceremony!
In the end, Meguri says her goodbyes to Hachiman, Yui, and Iroha, also telling them to enjoy school days while they still had time.
After she leaves, Iroha tells Hachiman to get ready to work in the prom for his beloved Meguri senpai!

The series follows Hachiman Hikigaya, a pessimistic, closeminded, and realistic teen, who is forced by his teacher to join the school’s service club and work with two girls with issues of their own. They offer help and advice to others while dealing with their inner conflicts.
The third season of this anime series follows the story where it left off in the second season.
