Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
The episode starts with star podcaster Cinda Canning meeting with a man who claims Mabel attacked her when they were coworkers. Meanwhile, Mabel cooks breakfast for Alice and tells her she likes that she doesn’t know anything about her past. Oliver visits a clinic to get a paternity test.
Oliver and Mabel visit Charles on set and Oliver shows them the CCTV footage of their suspect meeting Bunny in the diner. They get called away by the new detective on the case, who instructs them and Cinda to stop posting podcast episodes about the case. After meeting the new detective, the trio realizes that it’s possible they’ve been texting the killer all along.
They decide to set up a trap for the suspect and plant a glitter bomb in a bag claiming that it’s evidence. However, while they’re waiting for the suspect to show up, Oliver and Mabel realize that Charles is still in contact with Jan. They end up getting into an argument right when the suspect triggers the glitter bomb and he manages to get away.
