One Punch Man‘s first season, released in 2015, was a massive success due to its unique story and powerful animation. Even in its second season, what makes its audience come back to the show is not the insane strength Saitama possesses, but his eternal struggle to experience the thrill of battle again.
During its second season, a bunch of new powerful characters were introduced, but the ones that stood out the most were Suiryu and the Hero Killer Garou.
A new One Punch Man OVA, titled “Games and Rivals,” was released on January 28, and it features a fight scene between Suiryu and Garou. While the duo never faced each other in the anime, now, they can without affecting canon story.

Suiryu was introduced during the martial arts tournament mini-arc as the undefeated champion coming out of retirement. Just like Saitama, Suiryu one-shot all his opponents, carving his way to the finals.
Saitama ends up losing to Suiryu due to a technical issue. However, shortly after that, Suiryu realizes Saitama’s true power as he takes down Gouketsu.
Garou was introduced at the start of the season and set up as the hidden villain of the story. He was taken in by Bang, S Class Rank 3, at a young age and trained in the art of Flowing Water, Crushing Rock. He quickly became stronger than anyone around, and in hopes of becoming eve stronger picks up a fight with people tougher than him.
Despite being formidable characters, the duo never faced each other in the anime. The OVA allows these characters to duke it out without having it affect the canon story. In a canon scenario, my money is on Garou, simply because of his undying will.
About One Punch Man:
On an unnamed Earth-like supercontinent planet, powerful monsters and villains have been wreaking havoc in the cities. To combat them, the world’s government created a Hero Association that employs superheroes to stop them. The heroes are ranked from Class C to Class S.
Saitama, an unassociated hero, hails from the metropolis of City-Z and performs heroic deeds for his own entertainment. He has trained himself to the point where he broke his “limit” and can effortlessly defeat any opponent with a single punch while slaying monsters the same way. But he is now bored with his omnipotence and frustrated by sensing he lacks a challenge.
