It was quite a funny chapter. The much-awaited spar between the two ended very unexpectedly as they didn’t actually spar. Genos thought it was a waste of time, so they got down to discuss some stuff. 

Genos becomes Wikipedia for the rest of the chapter, telling everything that is going on in the world of heroes to Saitama. We learn about a new organization that is coming up that will change the world of heroes soon.

1. Chapter 185 Speculations

We might learn more about the new hero organization in chapter 185 of One-Punch Man, titled “The Butterfly and the Back.”

We will find out some dark secrets about the hero organization, and it seems like it is involved in what is called “hero gambling.” They put up a show in front of investors in order to get money. 

In the next chapter, we will see Mad Devil Yankee take on Shiverhuahua. Saitama and Genos will show up at the right time and will learn about the dark truth of the hero association through Child Emperor. It is going to be a very exciting chapter.

Genos visits Saitama’s new house. Genos says that he could have asked for a bigger house, but Saitama is comfortable in a small one. Genos wants to take a corner in the house, but his master refuses. 

Genos wants to spar with Saitama, and the latter agrees. They go into an open field where Genos launches his attack. He emits a powerful beam that blinds Saitama. 

Genos rushes toward his master but stops his punch just a few inches away from Saitama’s face. Saitama asks him why he stopped. Genos thinks it’s a waste of effort, and he will dirty Saitama’s clothes.                                                         

Genos asks Saitama if he has grown stronger or not. Saitama thought that as Genos’s master, he should praise him. So, he says that the shining thing Genos did was very bright. 

He doesn’t know if Genos has grown stronger or not, but he has definitely grown brighter. Hearing this, Genos thinks that his master was disappointed by his strength back then and gets depressed. 

He laments that despite being Saitama’s disciple for two months, he is still nothing compared to Saitama. He thinks that at this rate, he will never achieve the strength he seeks. He tells Saitama that a new hero organization is coming called Neo Heroes.  

     

This new organization is being formed as a result of scandals done by the previous organization, and there have been a lot of heroes who have already registered for the new one. 

The heroes associated with Neo Heroes Organization will be called “Neo Heroes” instead of “Pro Heroes.” They have already approached Genos along with a lot of other top-class heroes. 

Saitama asks him if he is doing all this to get revenge. Genos agrees. Saitama puts forward a possibility that maybe his enemy is already dead, but Genos is not ready to believe that as that cyborg is too strong to get defeated that easily. 

Genos asks Saitama if he wants to join the new organization, too, as they ask him for a recommendation. Saitama thinks it is too much of a hassle and refuses. So, Genos also refuses to go there.  

   

5. About One Punch Man

One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero webcomic created by the artist One in early 2009. It has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, as well as an anime adaptation. Following its publication, the webcomic quickly went viral, surpassing 7.9 million hits in June 2012.

On an unnamed Earth-like supercontinent planet, powerful monsters and villains have been wreaking havoc in the cities. To combat them, the world’s government created a Hero Association that employs superheroes to stop them. The heroes are ranked from Class C to Class S.

Saitama, an unassociated hero, hails from the metropolis of City-Z and performs heroic deeds for his own entertainment. He has trained himself to the point where he broke his “limit” and can effortlessly defeat any opponent with a single punch while slaying monsters the same way. But he is now bored with his omnipotence and frustrated by sensing he lacks a challenge.
