One Punch Man released chapter 138 recently, titled “Indomitability.” So, it’s time to discuss the release date, scans, and other details for chapter 139.

I. A Unique Friendship

Chapter 131 ended with Saitama introducing himself to a monster named Manako. It is likely that in the next chapter, we will see Saitama forging a sort-of friendship with Manako, which has countless implications. Now that Saitama has befriended Manako, anyone who hurts her will get punched for sure.

Saitama will eventually make it to the surface with Manako and Flashy Flash. Since Manako is a monster helping a hero, Psykos will definitely try to punish her. This would be the perfect moment for Saitama to step in and save the day once again.

II. Heroes vs. Monsters

Now that the final fight is starting between Tatsumaki and Psykos, we will definitely see a heated high-stakes esper fight between them. With all of the heroes now converging to that location, an all-out war may start.

So far, we saw the heroes split up and fight separate monsters. We may get to see different heroes synergizing with each other to take down the Monster association for good.

III. Saitama Arrives

One Punch Man’s manga often involves Saitama in a sub-plot to delay his entry into the main plot. While it seems ridiculous that the protagonist is not involved in the main plot, it is understandable when the protagonist kills everything in a single blow.

For the past few chapters, Saitama has been stuck underground with Manako and Flashy Flash. As the fight seems to be going out of the control of other characters, it seems like Saitama will soon escape and do his thing!

The Hero Association’s top ranking Hero – Blast, has been shrouded in mystery for a very long time. Chapter 135 showed a brief glimpse of an unidentified hero.

From the looks of it, this unidentified hero just might be Blast. With the world at stake, could it be that Blast finally appears?

Chapter 138 picks up chapter 137’s cliffhanger by showing the combined forces of Demon Cyborg and Drive Knight facing off against Pyskos’ ultimate form. After one hefty blow, the duo merge together and attack her. This results in an epic sequence of all the heroes present at the scene using special attacks.

To conclude the sequence, Tatsumaki picks up their entire base and turns it into a spinning spear of light raining down from the heavens.

As it turns out, Flashy Flash was stuck because he was holding onto his sword. Tatsumaki’s attack frees his hand and the chapter ends with an ominous body under the villain’s base.
