One-Punch Man created initially by ONE in 2009 as a webcomic was adapted into a manga by Yusuke Murata.
Its anime adaptation (with the same name) was the biggest anime sensation of 2015, telling the story of the hero who is just too strong.
One-Punch Man’s manga is still going strong, with chapter 130 being released on 3rd April. However, the manga had not put out a chapter since then, which was slightly concerning.
Yusuke Murata recently Tweeted to let fans know that the next chapter is coming soon. It has been slightly delayed but will be released “at the start of the week”.
As all One Punch Man fans know, the chapter will be well worth the wait – that’s just how Murata rolls !

One Punch man’s current storyline is continuing the fight between the Heroes and Monsters, which started quite a while ago. The entire confrontation started because the Monsters were confident that with Orochi, their king, they could take over the whole Hero force and rule the world.
Fast forward to the recent chapters, Tatsumaki has finally found her match. Another incredibly powerful esper, who goes by the name of Psykos, is going toe to toe with her.
In chapter 130, we see Tatsumaki simultaneously envelop everyone in individual barriers to protect them. This saves many of them from certain death. After they are all safe, she launches a massive scale move, tearing a gigantic hole in the Earth, bringing forth massive structures.
The chapter ends with Psykos saying, “It’s finally time to end this” as they both head into battle.
About One Punch Man:
One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero webcomic created by the artist One in early 2009. It has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, as well as an anime adaptation. Following its publication, the webcomic quickly went viral, surpassing 7.9 million hits in June 2012.
On an unnamed Earth-like supercontinent planet, powerful monsters and villains have been wreaking havoc in the cities. To combat them, the world’s government created a Hero Association that employs superheroes to stop them. The heroes are ranked from Class C to Class S.
Saitama, an unassociated hero, hails from the metropolis of City-Z and performs heroic deeds for his own entertainment. He has trained himself to the point where he broke his “limit” and can effortlessly defeat any opponent with a single punch while slaying monsters the same way. But he is now bored with his omnipotence and frustrated by sensing he lacks a challenge.
