Bandai Namco is preparing for the release of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. Two Trailers have already been released. One revolves around the Whole Cake Island arc, showcasing the big fight between Luffy and Katakuri & glimpses of Wano arc. The second showcases the Alabasta Arc – the starting point of the game.
Recently, Bandai Namco Entertainment’s YouTube channel released trailers for 3 new playable characters – Rob Lucci, Sabo, and Trafalgar Law.
Rob Lucci is currently a part of the CP0; however, the trailer shows him in the clothes of the CP9. This makes sense since Lucci hasn’t been a part of any on-screen action sequences post-time-skip.
Creating a character without knowing his current power would be incomplete. Most of Lucci’s moves in the trailer are AOE attacks. The trailer shows us his base and hybrid form in action using the techniques of the Rokushiki, including Rokuogan.
Sabo is the second in rank of the Revolutionary Army. In the trailer, his character dons his classic steel pipe and shows off his attacks combining the Mera Mera no Mi (Fire Devil Fruit) and his dragon stance.
Trafalgar Law is currently in an alliance with the Strawhats, trying to take down Kaido in Wano Kuni. His moves in the trailer are also mainly AOE attacks utilizing his Ope Ope no Mi (Operation Fruit).
Pre-order bonuses include additional costumes and unlocking Germa 66 early.
Playable characters in the game will include Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook, Crocodile, Ace, Boa Hancock, Jinbe, Kizaru (Borsalino), Aokiji (Kuzan), Akainu (Sakazuki), Trafalgar Law, Sabo, Bartolomeo, Cavendish, Katakuri, Basil Hawkins, Carrot, Vinsmoke Reiju, Vinsmoke Ichiji, Vinsmoke Niji, and Vinsmoke Yonji. The game will have an original story that takes place in the Land of Wano.
The game will debut for the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch in Japan on March 26, and then will debut in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas on March 27 for the consoles as well as the PC.
