One Piece Odyssey will be arriving in a couple of months and from the looks of it, fans certainly want to give it a try. Following the earlier pattern of Alabasta, a second gameplay trailer has been revealed which shows more of the Water 7 area, with some other combat features not mentioned before.
On Monday, Bandai Namco Entertainment America released a second gameplay trailer for One Piece Odyssey. The new gameplay trailer highlights the Water 7 region, and features like Hysteria, Bond Arts, and Dungeons.
Getting to the exploration part, in the Water 7 region, you can explore the area on a Yagara Bull through canals. This will be your primary method of transport here.
You can also choose to take a sightseeing tour to various locations within Water 7. Characters can also use their abilities to reach far-off spots. Side stories get unlocked as you complete the main story events.
The trailer also reveals a new realm called Memoria, a world of memories which the Straw Hat members access through a green pulsating object.
Memory Link Quests allow specific members to enter Memoria, allowing them to interact with residents and complete challenges to fix broken memories called Hysteria. Repairing Hysteria unlocks a new combat feature – Bond Arts.
Bond Arts is a unique team skill that allows three specific characters to use it. It unleashes a combined attack against the enemies. New Bond Arts unlock as you complete memory link quests.
You will also come across dungeons worldwide, including within Memoria. Dungeons are also character-specific, with unique stories and puzzles. These require environmental awareness as well as the crew’s abilities to complete.
Lastly, you will unlock a new story in Memoria which is different from what the crew remembers. After Water 7, you will also unlock the Enies Lobby stage. With so much to offer, the new One Piece RPG does seem promising. The game will be released on January 13 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

One Piece Odyssey is an upcoming role-playing video game being published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and developed by ILCA.
The game follows Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew as they go on an adventure to retrieve their lost powers and visit the Memoria, a world built from their memories of previous encounters.
The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam on January 13, 2023.
