One Piece Episode 999: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 998 titled, “Zeus’ Treason?! The Cornered Nami!” is the latest installment in the One Piece anime.

Shinobu and Sanji work together to rescue Momonosuke. Angered by this, King clashes with Sanji, which ends in an explosion. A worried Luffy tries to save him, but Big Mom again foils his plans and interrupts him.

Big Mom also calls back Zeus and chases Nami. Franky makes a grand entrance by ambushing Big Mom as he rides his bike right on her face.

Yamato abandons her fight with Ulti to save Momonosuke. Since she inherits the will of Oden, she claims that Momo was her son, which pisses off Ulti even more.

Episode 999 Speculation

In the next episode, Franky will challenge Big Mom. Robin and Jimbei will come in to help him with a combination attack. Meanwhile, Yamato will rescue Momonosuke, and the one who inherits Oden’s blood will finally meet the one who inherits his will.

Luffy will use this distraction to escape Big Mom’s wrath and go to Kaido, leaving the Straw Hats and their allies to fight the rest.

Episode 999 of the One Piece anime has been released on Saturday, Nov 13, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Episode 998 Recap

The episode opens with Big Mom declaring that the battle has begun. She yells at the Straw Hats, asking them to prepare themselves as the two sides start clashing. Meanwhile, Queen gets a message that the situation with the Udon prisoners is getting out of hand.

Seeing Queen and King getting distracted by the commotion, Shinobu seizes the opportunity to make her way towards Momonosuke. She silently undoes his shackles one by one.

Yamato and Ulti face each other, and Yamato tells her to back off since she has a more important thing to do. She pushes Ulti back in one blow. Luffy is also fighting the enemy, taking them down in one punch. He notices Shinobu rescuing Momo as she breaks off a chain.

The breaking clang of the chain alerts King, and he throws off Shinobu from the castle. When Shinobu saves herself from falling using the ninja squirrel, all of Momo’s shackles break, and he starts flying.

King decides to kill him on behalf of Kaido, but Sanji makes a grand entrance and saves the boy. King grabs Sanji by his neck, threatening him to hand over Momo. He refuses and throws him in Shinobu’s direction, who takes hold of him.

Sanji frees himself from King and complements Momo for his bravery. He then starts attacking King, but all his attacks are futile as King is too powerful. King corners him, pushing him back using his beak. The two crash, causing an explosion, and Luffy decides to help Sanji.

Before he can save Sanji, Big Mom stops Luffy and orders her subordinates to kill all those who came to attack them. She transforms into her massive form and calls upon Zeus. Nami starts running away with Zeus, who is frightened for his life.

Just as Zeus starts going back to Big Mom, Nami bribes him to stay, telling him that she will give him delicious food like earlier. Big Mom physically grabs Zeus and tells him to take Nami down. Big Mom chases Nami, but just as she closes in, Franky comes and saves her.
