One Piece Episode 994: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

One Piece Episode 993, titled “Explosive?! The Handcuffs that Shackle Yamato’s Freedom!” aired this week.

Last we saw that Luffy gave Yamato some time and heard him out. It was expected to see Orochi being a coward to lower the morale of the samurais by trying to execute Momonosuke.

To make things worse, Kaido made an important announcement.

In the latest episode, we learned that Yamato and Ace had crossed paths in the past, which led to them becoming friends.

The Akazaya were made aware of Momonosuke’s upcoming execution, and they made their move to prevent it. Luckily, the suspense was not for long, and Kaido elaborated on The New Onigashima Project.

Episode 994 Speculations and Discussions

One Piece Episode 994 is titled “The Akazaya Face-off! Kikunojo vs. Kanjuro!”

We shall finally get to see Kanjuro face the consequences for betraying Oden and the Akazaya.

I really hope Kiku does not hold back against Kanjuro and immediately eliminates him, but then again, I guess it is too good to be true.

Kanjuro has come so far with his dirty tricks. I’m sure he still has a few up his sleeve.

The ideal way to get justice will be if Kin’emon is able to land the finishing blow on Kanjuro.

Episode 994 Release Date

No, One Piece is not on break this week. Episode 994 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 993

Episode 993, titled “Explosive?! The Handcuffs that Shackle Yamato’s Freedom!” starts with Luffy getting to know that Yamato is a girl and she knows of Ace.

In another part of Onigashima, Law takes his leave as he fulfilled his duty of dropping the Akazaya near the rendezvous point.

The Akazaya, along with Izou, march forward towards the battle.

As they proceed further, Kanjuro greets them with several men by his side. He states that he knew they were up to something and has arrived to stop their actions. 

Kanjuro even tells them that he roughed up Momonosuke before presenting him to Orochi, who is not in the process of executing him.

The Akazaya are enraged, and they charge forward, taking down everyone in their path.

Kiku himself asks Kanjuro if he ever felt anything during their time together. He asks him if it was all a lie, and he never felt a thing for Oden and the others.

Kanjuro laughs it off by saying that he takes it as a compliment that everyone was fooled. He is proud that he acted so well that no one doubted him.

Kiku takes that his sign of Kanjuro’s complete betrayal and prepares to attack him as he now sees him as someone who never meant anything to him.

Meanwhile, Luffy and Yamato are talking, where Yamato mentions that Ace always spoke about him.

Yamato also tells him that she wished to join Ace on his adventures but could not do so as Kaido has placed her under shackles that will blast if she leaves the island.

Luffy offers to take the shackles off for her if she agrees to fight against Kaido alongside him.

The episode then ends with Kaido elaborating on the New Onigashima Project, with Big Mom making her official appearance in front of everyone.
