I. Yasuie Saves the Day
Yasui lies, making everyone believe that Orochi’s mind was playing tricks on him and that there are no rebels. Orochi is furious when he reaches the execution point and learns about what has happened.
Yasuie kills time by mocking Orochi saying that he’ll never become shogun while Kaido enjoys all of this on the sidelines.
In the meantime, Chopper and gang are headed towards the capital. And Kinemon realizes that Yasuie is doing all this to save their plan which was exposed and is willing to die to keep the plan alive.
II. The Truth behind Ebisu Town’s Smile
The latest chapter shows us a flashback where Yasuie has tied up all of Oden’s followers.
He advises them to get an education and learn basic manners so that they can be of use to Oden when he becomes the Shogun and their illiteracy will cause Oden shame.
The flashback ends and Tonoyasu sees Toko running towards him. Yasuie apologizes to Toko who later ends up laughing along with the rest of Ebisu Town.
As the firing stops, Zoro yells in a fit of rage at their actions. Through Hiyori’s character, we learn that they’re actually crying.
People from Ebisu town know no other emotion except to smile and this was because Orochi and Kaido brought with them a devil fruit named Smile.
