One Piece Episode 1071: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Kaido defeats Luffy in episode 1070, titled “Luffy Is Defeated?! The Determination of Those Left Behind.”

It was the end of the battle between the two. Kaido was extremely distressed by the unfair ending of their fight, but he still moved on to terrorize Onigashima by announcing Luffy’s defeat.

Chapter 21071 of the One Piece manga has been released on Saturday, Aug 05, 2023. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.

Luffy will finally gain the fifth gear in episode 1071, titled “Luffy’s Peak- Attained! Gear Five.”

The wait is finally over, and at last, we are here! It is time for one of the most anticipated moments to take place next week. Luffy will be back up in his strongest form ever, turning the tides of the battle and liberating Wano of its misery.

The preview was enough to generate hype, and it looks like we are going to have a blast next week. All we need to do is just sit back and enjoy the internet going crazy over this epic transformation.

3. Episode 1070 Recap

Kaido is left in utter shock after a sudden and unfair victory against Luffy. Luffy failed to launch his attack because Guernica interfered. Kaido got furious at him and threw him down the roof with a powerful hit.

He gets extremely frustrated and turns into his dragon form out of rage. Kawamatsu tries to control the fire when Kaido shows up, demanding Momonosuke’s surrender.

He announces that Luffy has died, causing a burst of emotions around Onigashima. Nami tries to confront him, saying Luffy can’t die. Kaido throws a blast breath at her, but Marco jumps in at the right time to save the day.

The whole place runs into panic as Kaido announces that everyone will be back to being a slave and working forever as one. Some Beast Pirates try to attack Law and Kid.

Momonosuke has also lost all hope and tells Yamato that they should surrender. Yamato is determined to keep moving forward for the sake of the battle they have been fighting for twenty years.

She tells Momonosuke to die together, fighting for Wano. Kaido continues destroying everything around him. Some samurais try to resist and fight.

Suddenly, Luffy’s heart starts beating wildly. Zunesha hears this and tells Momonosuke that he can hear the drums of liberation. After 800 years, Joyboy has returned.

Luffy’s body starts transforming, and we see a smile on his face.
