Guernica interferes with the fight between Kaido and Luffy in episode 1069, titled “There is Only One Winner- Luffy Vs. Kaido.”

It was an epic episode with some awesome fight sequences. Raizo finally won his long-drawn battle against Fukurokuju. Drake attacked Guernica but failed to get any success.

Luffy and Kaido’s fight nearly reached its climax. Luffy refused to put rest to his punches and continued attacking Kaido before his Gear Four gave up. However, Guernica had to interrupt to ruin Kaido and Luffy’s final attacks.

The samurais will lose hope as Luffy is defeated in episode 1070, titled “Luffy Is Defeated?! The Determination of Those Left Behind.”

Kaido was visibly shocked and saddened by his unearned victory. He isn’t satisfied with how their epic battle ended, and now Guernica will face the consequence of interfering for the sake of his duty.

Kaido will destroy Guernica. The Straw Hats and other samurais and pirates will be deeply shocked by the news of Luffy’s defeat. Now, all that everyone is waiting for is the epic Luffy comeback, and it is going to happen in the next episode, hopefully.

Raizo and Fukurokuju continue standing on fire. The latter starts giving up and falls down at last. Raizo starts to move and cries in pain because of the heat. He tries to tolerate it but fails.

He emerges as the victor of the battle in the Connecting Hallway. Jinbei finds him. Raizo asks Jinbei for a favor. Guernica prepares to go on the rooftop but is suddenly stabbed by a sword from behind by Drake.

Guernica quickly launches a counterattack and shoots Drake with his pistol. At the Flower Captial, Otama and others enjoy the festival while Luffy continues firing consecutive punches at Kaido.

He changes his attack but never lets Kaido take a break. He keeps on firing punches at him. Kaido even tells him to stop and starts acting shy, but Luffy refuses to stop.

Kaido gets serious and turns into his dragon form. He bites Luffy and then swallows him. Luffy tries to punch his way out. Kaido spits him out and throws a giant Blast Breath at him.

The attack is so powerful it throws Luffy from the rooftop, down to the very bottom, and out of the island. Luffy gets pierced through the island. However, he pulls himself back and escapes the attack, jumping back to the rooftop.

Luffy refuses to lose for the sake of the people of Wano. He blames Kaido for all the suffering the people face. Kaido just terms them as weak. This angers Luffy, and he takes down the dragon form with a powerful attack.

Luffy doesn’t have enough time left, so he immediately rushes to attack Kaido again. However, Kaido throws Luffy away with his bagua. Luffy starts to lose his fourth gear but still pushes himself to use it one last time.

As the two rush at each other for one final attack, Guernica interferes and stops Luffy from launching his punch. Kaido gets shocked by this sudden interference. His attack hits Luffy, causing the latter’s brutal fall.

Seeing this, Kaido is left in a state of horror and shock.
