It was an all in all Robin episode. She completely dominated Black Maria after getting a lot of beating from the Beast Pirates member. Robin turns into a demon and ensures that Maria isn’t able to stand up again.

It felt really nice how the anime executed Maria’s defeat and Robin reassuring herself that she is someone needed by others. It was really epic. On the other hand, Momo wanted Shinobu to turn him older so that he could take Luffy up to Onigashima.

Episode 1045 Speculations

Killer and Hawkinsin will engage in an intense battle in episode 1045, titled “A Spell! Kid and Zoro Facing Threats.”

The next episode will focus on three personalities, Zoro, Kid, and Killer. Each of them is dealing with their own problems. Sanji is at his limits, and it’s time for Zoro to use the painkiller he took.

Kid gets badly injured in the next episode, which causes Killer to go into rage mode. It will be real hype to see Zoro up again. We might also get a peek into whether Shinobu is making Momo older or not.

Episode 1044 Recap

Black Maria traps Robin in her webs, attacks the giant version of Robin, and starts punching her with special knuckles. After getting punched numerous times, Robin removes her giant form.

She tries to grab Maria with multiple hands, but Maria deflects her attack. Maria releases a series of webs to trap Robin. After avoiding it for a long time, Robin gets trapped in Maria’s web.

Maria starts punching Robin and also verbally abusing her. She tells Robin that she is useless and is a demon child. She punches Robin so hard that she is thrown away and gets trapped in another web.

Brook sees their intense fight and forms an ice wall between himself and them. Maria further insults Robin by saying that she is only good at deciphering Poneglyphs.

Robin starts getting flashbacks of her time with the revolutionary army and how Sabo, Koala, and Hack trained her. She remembers how much the Straw Hats trust her and what she means to them.

She uses the special technique taught to her by Sabo and Koala and extinguishes the fire. Maria still thinks Robin can’t do anything, but when she turns around, she sees a giant demon in front of her.

Robin starts destroying Maria and inflicting tremendous damage. Maria is now completely useless against Robin’s demonic powers. Robin entangles her arms and legs and breaks them up.

Maria’s subordinates are shocked when they see their master defeated. Brook finishes them off. Robin comes up to Brook and falls unconscious.

At Tokage Port, Luffy eats up the food provided by Caribou. Momonosuke begs Shinobu to use her jutsu to turn him older as he wants to take Luffy up to Onigashima. Shinobu is not ready to do so as only Momo’s body will grow, not his mind. Momo is still ready to become older.
