We met Ace again in episode 1013 of One Piece titled “Yamato’s Past! The Man Who Came For An Emperor of the Sea.”
The episode was filled with some epic fights between Yamato and Ace. Yamato recalls how Ace changed her life and set her heart free. The bond they share is loved by fans a lot, and the episode portrayed it quite well too.
Meanwhile, other characters are in a dangerous situation and are surrounded by a swarm of enemies. How will they come out and defeat their enemies, and what will Yamato do next? There is a lot that needs an answer, and I am really looking forward to it.

Episode 1014 Speculations
Marco and Zoro will join hands to take down Lead Performers King and Queen in episode 1014 of One Piece titled “Marco’s Tears! The Bond of the White Beard Pirates.”
We are going to have another flashback featuring Ace in the next episode as well. This time it is Marco who is remembering his old friend and the bond he shared with the White Beard Pirates.
The next episode will not cover much content as they are going to save the real fun to start for the later episodes. We are finally just one episode away from one of the most epic One Piece scenes.
Unfortunately, we have to wait longer than usual for all the fun to begin. I can’t stop thinking about what’s coming ahead.
Episode 1014 Release Date
Episode 1014 of the One Piece anime, titled “Marco’s Tears! The Bond of the White Beard Pirates”, has been released on Saturday, Mar 19, 2022.

Episode 1013 Recap
Sanji tries to run away from the banquet hall on the third floor, captured by Black Maria. He tries hard to free himself from her trap, but she catches up to him immediately and stops him by trapping his legs with her web.
She is revealed to be a user of Spider-Spider fruit, and Sanji finds himself helpless in front of her.
As Black Maria is about to attack him, the scene shifts towards Jinbe, standing tall in front of Who’s-Who (strange name), a Cat-Cat fruit user.
He refers to Jinbe as the former warlord of the sea, but Jinbe despises that name and prefers to be called a member of the Straw Hat Pirates. It looks like Who’s-Who used to know him before, so to reveal his identity, Jinbe gets ready to fight him.
Yamato tends to Shinobu’s wounds. She begins to laugh, and Momo inquires about it, to which she replies that it reminded her of the injuries she inflicted on Ace. Momo asks to tell more about him, Yamato tells him that the meaning of life was taught to her by him.
She begins to tell his story. He came to Wano to fight Kaido. On reaching the island, they are suddenly attacked by Yamato, who fights with Ace while the rest of the crew begins searching for the imprisoned girls.
An epic battle begins between the two, and both fight on equal footing, with none getting the upper hand.
The rest of the crew returns with some children and informs Ace that Kaido is nowhere to be found. Yamato tells them that her father is out on an expedition. Everyone is shocked to hear that, which makes Yamato angry.
She tells them to leave with the children and get the children back to their families. Ace agrees to do that but asks whether it won’t be a problem, to which she replies that she doesn’t have any obligations to protect the island, and they can do whatever they want.
Ace notices her handcuffs and tells his crew to return to the ship. Near their ship, Ace tells them to go to the mainland without him as he will join them later.
He returns to Yamato, and they start battling again with intense battle fumes among them. In the midst of it, Ace asks her why she is not going out in the sea if she is so strong.
Yamato blames it all on her father Kaido, accusing him of why she cannot go out in the sea. Ace gets angry at her claim, telling her that she can’t choose her parents.
Ace tells her about how he was made fun of and could not do what he wanted because he was the son of Gold D. Roger, but slowly he found the meaning of his life as he grew up.
Yamato disagrees with him, saying that she can’t be free as long as her father is alive. When she was small, Kaido handcuffed her, claiming that she didn’t have any reason to leave the island, and if she was his daughter, she had to become strong for him.
Ace asks her that even if she is handcuffed, if she hates her father, why she is letting him chain her heart.
Ace tells her that she didn’t become strong for her father or some random fight. She became strong for herself. He inquires about what she wants to do deep, deep in her heart. She thinks hard, picks up her weapon, and smashes the dragon statue at the gate until it falls.
She admits that she has been blaming her father all this time, but what she wants to do is sail the sea and explore the world, live freely like Oden.
Ace smashes the dragon statue with his fist and tells her now she knows what to do. They quietly sit by the seaside and begin talking. Yamato asks him about the world, everything, and anything.
They speak for a long time and even get drunk by night. Ace tells her about his brother and claims that he will be the strongest of all the dangerous guys out there in the sea.
Back in the present, she tells Momo that Ace said he would come back, but he never did, and her father never met him.
Momo and Shinobu are shocked to know that she is Kaido’s daughter, but she convinces them that she hates Kaido and has become like Oden who lives freely. Yamato reveals that Ace died two years ago.
Nami is surprised to hear that Otama knows Ace. Otama tells her that Ace is why she decided to become a Kunoichi. She was saddened by how Luffy told her about Ace’s death so out of the blue.
Nami assures her not to feel bad about it as Luffy, too, has gone through a lot of pain as Ace died in front of him, and he couldn’t do anything. Yamato is now waiting for Luffy, as he is the one who inherited Ace’s will, and he is the one with whose help she can be free from Kaido.
