In spite of the slow pacing, a lot happened in episode 1007 of One Piece. Queen wrecked more havoc on people with the virus, while Kaido easily defeated both Neko and Inu.

Episode 1008 Speculations
From the preview, it seems like the next episode will focus on Nami and Ussop as they are being chased by the sibling duo Ulti and Page One. The fight is going to be a difficult one as Nami has lost Zeus earlier, but with the promise she made to Luffy, will she be able to fight back?
With Chopper and the crew finally finding the antidote, the quest to get it from Appo and save people will continue. Meanwhile, the fight between Yamato and Sasaki will accelerate.
Fans are expecting more slow-paced development, as the show is really behind the manga. In spite of that, everyone seems to be excited to see what’s coming up in the next few episodes.

Episode 1007 Recap
The episode starts with the effects of the Oni bullets fired by Queen still wreaking havoc on the bodies of people down below. Everyone who is pierced by the bullets or by the virus turns into ice demons.
One of Hyogoro’s closest companions also starts to turn into ice and tries to kill himself. Hyogoro asks him to not give up as they will try their best to find a cure for the virus.
Chopper says that he will be needing an antidote to prepare a cure as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Queen shoots another round of bullets turning more people into oni.
Apoo enters the scenario and asks Queen to open the door but Queen drops the antidote and tells Apoo to take care of it. Everybody now has their eye on Apoo and the antidote as all the pirates and samurais rushes towards Apoo to get a hold of it.
On the rooftop, Nekomamushi and Inuarashi fight with Kaido in one of their strongest forms but are not able to put even a scratch on him. Kaido continues to march towards the Scabbards as he is ready to give them a pitiful death, but they are not willing to be killed by him.
Yamato enters the fight against Sasaki and his men, as they bombard Yamato, Momo, and Shinobu with bombs, which Yamato is able to protect them from. The episode ends with Yamato proudly introducing her to Momo and Shinobu and vowing to save Momonosuke.
