It turns out the recent hack of the Toei Animation website has ravaged a bunch of chaos with some of the substantial productions of the studio.
After finding their internal systems jeopardized by a third party on March 7, the company closed its online shop and temporarily closed some of those internal systems during the ongoing investigation.
As a result, some of the major shows’ production schedules have been affected.
Those shows include One Piece, Digimon Ghost Game, Delicious Party Pretty Cure, and Dragon Quest the Adventure of Dai, all of which will not be airing new episodes until the issue is solved.
One Piece and Digimon Ghost Game were already taking a week off due to the nationwide broadcast of the Nagoya Women’s Marathon.
Both of the shows were supposed to get back on track on March 20, but sadly that won’t happen anytime soon.
The shows – One Piece and Digimon Ghost Game will not air new episodes on March 20, 2022, due to Toei Animation’s hack.

Digimon Ghost Game episode 22 goes off track the scheduled time as the Toei Animation issue gives a pause on the already delayed episode. The last episode of Digimon Ghost Game aired on March 6, 2022.
The anime studio may be trying to recover from a ransomware attack, which can shut down an entire IT network by encrypting the affected computers.
In addition, the hackers behind ransomware incidents can often steal data from their victim’s computers before encrypting them. This could pave the way for them to hold the information hostage in exchange for funds.
I just hope that’s not the case and Toei Animation will be back on schedule to stream our favorite shows.
