One Piece Chapter 980 SPOILERS: Luffy Blows Cover, Kid Attacks Apoo

One Piece manga is currently exploring the Wano arc. The alliance of the Strawhats, the Kid pirates, and the Samurai of Wano are aiming to take down the pirate alliance of Kaido and Big Mom.

Against such a massive lineup, it seemed like the rebellion forces stood a chance to disguise themselves using Kin’emon’s devil fruit. However, as usual, Luffy has trouble going along with the plan.

Raw scans for Chapter 980 of One Piece were recently released. The chapter shows Luffy, Zoro, and Kid blowing their cover after getting involved in a brawl with Kaido’s men over them wasting food.

The chapter starts with Luffy launching a Haki laced elephant gun at the people wasting food. He gets recognized quickly by Apoo, who in turn, notifies Queen about this.

Zoro arrives at the scene and gets angry with Luffy at first. Then on knowing that these people were throwing away Oshiruko, he gets equally mad. However, he tries to get Luffy out of there and not cause a scene.

New Tobi Roppo

Queen announces that he plans to kill one of the Tobi Roppo members personally, so there’s a seat available. Whoever catches Luffy and Zoro will be awarded a rank in the Tobi Roppo.

This gets the crowd riled up, and Apoo launches attacks on Zoro and Luffy. Kid steps in and hits Apoo with the full force of his Punk Gibson.

With the cover of the rebel army now blown, Kaido’s forces will likely start searching the entire island for more members of the army. This may start a full-blown war very soon.

However, since the next chapter is delayed again, fans need to wait an extra week to find out what happens.
