The One Piece manga is currently exploring the Wano arc. The alliance of the Strawhats, the Kid pirates, and the samurai of Wano are aiming to take down the pirate alliance of Kaido and Big Mom.
While we are already in the late stages of the arc, the war itself is just about to begin. It looks like there’s going to be some restructuring in Kaido’s crew before that happens.
Chapter 979 of One Piece hints at the possibility of a new All-Star. Kaido offers the Tobi Roppo a chance to upgrade their position by dueling an All-Star of their choice, if they can find his son Yamato.
In the chapter, we see the Tobi Roppo meeting with Kaido. It turns out King had called them under the name of Kaido as Who’s Who and Sasaki would not have responded otherwise.
King had been tipped off about Kaido’s family problem and had assembled the Tobi Roppo to help him out. There seems to be a lot of animosity between the King and the Tobi Roppo.
Kaido gives them the task of finding his son Yamato who disappeared a day before. He tells them that if they succeed, he will let them duel any of the All-Stars for their rank.
Who’s Who in particular is very excited about this opportunity. Jack and King, the only All-Stars present, seem to have no problem with this arrangement.
Who’s Who or Sasaki will most likely take the position of Jack or even Queen. It seems improbable that any of them could defeat King as he is the strongest All-Star.
