One Piece recently released the 976th chapter of the series, titled “Begging Your Pardon!!!.”

The chapter starts with the Akazaya Nine doubting that Kin’emon came up with such a smart plan. They talk about how Kin’emon and the others have used up a lifetime of luck, which probably foreshadows the death of some of the Akazaya Nine. 

Kanjuro successfully escapes with Momonosuke, who tells everyone not to worry about him as that’s what the enemy wants. Now that everyone is reunited, they start heading over to Onigashima. However, ships equipped with long-range cannons from Wano’s infamous weapons factories start sinking the samurai ships.

With such a distance, they get into trouble, however a very nostalgic attack – Yari Nami – takes down the enemy ships. The person behind this is none other than Jinbei, First Son of the Sea. After introducing himself as an ally to everyone who doesn’t know him, he announces that he is the recruit for the Strawhats.
