Where Are Nami and Crew?
The previous chapter of One Piece ended with Nami waking up to find herself in an unknown place. The upcoming chapter starts with a bit of an explanation of this.
The chapter starts in Elbaf, where a lot of giants are featured. They spoke of how a fire had started in the forest and how they had to put it out before it harmed the Yggdrasil tree. There was also a talk among the giants about how the giant bees were attacked and were falling to the ground, and apparently, the “Ear God” also fell to the ground.
The scene then cut to the “Big Stein Castle”, where we get to see Nami inside a castle that looks like it was made of LEGO blocks. From the inside, we could see the Yggdrasil tree, suggesting that she was at Elbaf, too. We saw that Nami had taken a giant bee down with the help of Zeus. When Zeus asked about their whereabouts, she responded with tears in her eyes while expressing her cluelessness about the situation.
While in her dilemma, she begs for help, calling out to Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, and even Usopp. She also expressed her confusion when she saw that her clothes had changed. As she walked through the hallway, she heard Usopp’s voice calling out to her. As she ran towards the voice, she tripped and fell over a brick, and to her horror, she lifted her head to see a giant hedgehog.
Nami Running for Her Life
As she was running away from the hedgehog, she saw Usopp who was getting attacked by a giant cat wearing a crown. The two decided to run away together, and the cat and hedgehog were continually chasing the both. After a lot of running, they both realized that they had to face their enemies. Nami, with the help of Zeus, attacked the hedgehog and defeated it.
Unfortunately for the two, the electrocuted hedgehog fell on the giant cat’s head, enraging him. The two begin running away again until Usopp starts to question their current situation, thinking it is a dream. He then faces the cat to confirm his suspicion, only to get blown away when the cat attacked.
After this, the cat suddenly transformed into a lion and attacked them again. This time, Nami used Usopp’s body as a shield. To their luck, right after this, Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro showed up, and they immediately got to fighting. Luffy even used his 4th gear and defeated the giant cat.
Luffy and Crew Assembled
After the cat got defeated, we noticed that Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji were wearing biking outfits with capes. With everything calming down and the defeated lion reverting back to a cat, everyone acted normally. Nami cried about how scared she was, Sanji expressed his worry for Nami, and Usopp chewed Nami out for using him as a shield.
After this, it was revealed that the big bees and the “Ear God” rabbit defeated at the beginning of the chapter were actually Luffy’s work. While assembled in the castle’s backyard, Luffy expressed how tasty the roasted rabbit was. Zoro suggested that they should search for the ship and their missing crew.
Sanji mentioned how the bees that they sent flying away were an important source of nutrition. The chapter ended with Nami being flabbergasted at seeing how normally they were acting.
