One Piece Chapter 1123 Spoilers: Two Empty Weeks

Chapter 1122 of One Piece had quite a destructive end. Emet had his body wrecked by the elders, after which we were taken to a flashback where we saw Emet having an interaction with Joyboy, where Joyboy revealed the existence of the greatest Haki. Emet unleashed the Haki in a final struggle before shutting down for good in a last attempt to save Luffy.

With all the elders thwarted, and the Marines left to fight Emet’s Haki, Luffy and his crew found the perfect loop to get away. The Spoilers of chapter 1123 have already been leaked by the popular leaker Pewpiece on Twitter. Here are all the spoilers for the chapter titled “The 2 Empty Weeks”

Chapter 1123 Spoilers

After the previous chapter ended with Emet releasing his Haki, we get to see all the Marines, including the Vice Admirals, getting defeated by the Haki. This is when Dorry and Brogy speculated that this Haki is probably more powerful than Shanks’ conquerer’s Haki.

Thanks to Emet’s timely help, Dorry, Brogy, Luffy, and the gang leave Egghead and head toward Elbaf on Sunny and Elbaf’s ship. After the much eventful day, everyone gets to take a breather, and Sanji takes a look at Vegapunk’s body.

The flashback:

We are then taken to an incident that happened two weeks ago when Shaka realized that the laboratory had been tampered with. On informing this to Vegapunk and Pythagoras, they reached a collective conclusion that York was betraying them.

Vegapunk confesses that he used his greed to create York, which was a mistake. When the news of what happened to the Lulusia kingdom (it was destroyed by Imu) reached them, they finally concluded that there was no escape.

As a countermeasure against York and the world government, Vegapunk, Shaka, and Pythagoras modified the robot and hid Den-Den Mushi within it for a broadcast. They then recorded a video of the broadcast and deleted the previous two weeks’ worth of memories (to hide their plan from York).

After all this was done, Vegapunk discovered a message left by himself which said, “Have faith in yourself and die”.

Usopp and friends yelled, “To the land of my dream, Elbaf!” in excitement as they reached Elbaf. Amidst all the excitement, Sanji thinks back on the last thing Vegapunk told him at Egghead. Vegapunk told Sanji that he’d rather have Sanji and their crew find the One Piece.

Chapter 1122 Recap

Chapter 1122 was a hell of an exciting chapter, which ended at quite the cliffhanger. Vegapunk’s broadcast was still going on, we got to see Sabo’s dark side as he said he’s gonna stop Luffy from achieving his dream.

After this, due to the elder’s intervention, Emet was destroyed, and Vegapunk’s broadcast was interrupted.

At this point, Emet realizes that he was mistaking Luffy for Joyboy, and he then asks Luffy for his name. Their striking resemblance causes Emet to want to vouch for Luffy. We then got to see Joyboy having a conversation with Emet, where he was told to untie the knot of the greatest Haki when the time was right.

The chapter ends with Emet releasing the most powerful Haki so far. It was very apparent that the Haki was immensely powerful. Most of the elder werer teleported away and even Imu sensed Joyboy’s strength from far away. After this, Emeth drew his last breath (in a figurative sense, of course).
