Imu kills Cobra in chapter 1085 of One Piece, titled “The Death of Nefeltari Cobra.”
It was an interesting chapter with some exciting turn of events. It wasn’t just Cobra alone who heard the secrets of the government, but Sabo and Wapol, too, got involved in all the mess.
Cobra tells Sabo about his family and tells him to pass on the message to Vivi and Luffy. Vivi gets captured by some Cipher Pol agents but immediately escapes with the help of Wapol.

I. Vivi Goes Where?
Events took a hilarious and dramatic turn by the end of the previous chapter, and now Vivi is on the run. She will somehow reach the journalists with whom we saw her at the very beginning of the Egghead arc.
She might go somewhere else before that. Wapol may discuss with her what he saw and heard. Maybe she is trying to reveal the truth to the world at the present time.

Cobra is shocked to see someone sit on the throne. He is not ready to accept it, as the world is not meant to sway according to one person’s will. Imu tells him that they have two things to say and one thing to ask Cobra.
Cobra furiously asks for the identity of the one sitting on the throne. He knows the name Imu but seeks to know more about Imu. Imu refuses to answer his question but tells him the secret behind “D.”
Imu tells Cobra that the ones that carry the name D are the ones who oppose her and have always been trouble. All this that is happening right now is because of a mistake Queen Lily made 800 years ago.
It is because of Lily’s mistakes that the ponegliffs have scattered around the world. The secret to the liberation of ponegliffs lies in the letter Lily sent to Alabasta.
Imu wants to know why Cobra hid the sender’s name from them. Cobra realizes that he won’t get out alive from there. He tells them that the name of the sender was Nefeltari D. Lily.
Imu attacks Cobra, but Sabo interferes, enraging Imu. Sabo saves Cobra and tries to take him away, but Imu launches a fierce attack on them. Cobra tells Sabo to leave him and escape.
Sabo doesn’t want that. Cobra tells him to pass a message to Vivi and Luffy that they, too, bear the D. An attack from Imu injures Sabo. Cobra stands up to guard him and tells him to leave.
Wapol sees it all through a tiny hole and gets terrified for his life. In the roundtable conference room, everyone is waiting for Cobra and Wapol to arrive, but they get the message that the two won’t be joining them.
Shirahoshi is about to leave for Red Port when she wishes to say goodbye to Vivi. Vivi is captured by Jabra and Kalifa of Cipher Pol Agis Zero, and they tell Vivi that she will soon become someone’s pet.
Vivi asks them if Shirahoshi is safe, and they reply positively. The agents discuss what has been conspiring all around them when suddenly Wapol enters the room, breaking through the wall and shouting for his life.
He rushes out without bothering about what is happening. Vivi tags along with him, successfully escaping the Cipher Pol. On asking where he is going, he tells her that he is going to the end of the Earth.
Vivi is ready to go along with him. Kinderella sees them and gets shocked as she thinks they are eloping.
