Vegapunk’s Devil Fruit Replication Technique
In chapter 1070, Vegapunk reveals that Seraphims use the power of Artificial Devil Fruits as well. He explains how successful he has been in his research about the replication of different Devil Fruits.
It seems that Zoan-type Devil Fruits are easiest to manufacture, according to the genius scientist. However, we have already witnessed his ability to replicate Zoan Devil Fruits before.
But, even a super intelligent man like Vegapunk can’t replicate Logias-type Devil Fruit yet. He confesses that he had tried to duplicate them, but he was unsuccessful in an attempt to do so.
Finally, we come to know that Vegapunk has managed to crack the code for replicating Parmecia-type Devil Fruit abilities as well. This duplication can be achieved by synthesizing and administering a special type of blood made from the user’s bloodline elements.
Vegapunk then makes a grand declaration that this very blood flows inside all Seraphims. He hails them as the strongest form of humanity ever conceived by science.
Devil Fruits Replicated by Vegapunk So Far

Can Vegapunk replicate Luffy’s Devil Fruit ability?
After learning the sheer extent of Vegapunk’s replication skill, we can easily conclude that Vegapunk will be able to replicate Luffy’s Devil Fruit too if he wishes to.
According to Vegapunk, any Zoan Devil Fruit, even the Mythical ones, can be duplicated as long as a vast amount of money and time are available to bring that dream to fruition.
He has already displayed his ability to replicate Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits and Parmecia Devil Fruits. Gomu Gomu no Mi fits both of these categories, so it can be duplicated by the terrifying scientist if the circumstances call for it.
