One Piece chapter 1066’s spoilers reveal a connection between Vegapunk and Dragon, who crossed paths in Ohara after the Buster Call.

It turns out that the island’s destruction led to Dragon forming the Revolutionary Army and Vegapunk working for the government. Both of them have the same aim but different ways of working.

I guess it now makes sense why Kuma gave himself up to the government and Vegapunk agreed to put in the command to protect Thousand Sunny during the timeskip.

Remember all those books the archaeologists threw in the water to save them? Dragon was the one who collected them all, and the giants of Elbaf helped carry them.

While this happened, Vegapunk entered the scene, and the pair encountered a ‘man wrapped in bandages.’ All of this is narrated by Shaka in the present time to Robin, who figures out that the bandaged man was Jaguar D. Saul, who survived the attack.

Shaka also goes on to say that both Vegapunk and Dragon knew Professor Clover, signifying how they worked to find out the world’s real history. Not only that, but Shaka also theorizes that the war between the Ancient Kingdom and the 20 nations happened during the Void Century.

Moreover, Luffy has finally met the real Vegapunk, who is not so different from how we imagined, except for his big head. In this chapter, it is shown that Vegapunk did, in fact, have an enormous head, which is now replaced with a lid.

After seeing the spoilers, fans have found an uncanny resemblance to Albert Einstein in Vegapunk. Knowing Oda, the character is most likely inspired by the world’s most famous scientist.

Let’s not forget to add how Vegapunk instantly recognizes Luffy and exclaims, ‘Dragon’s son! I knew you’d come!!’

Seeing all these mysteries unravel and some of the most anticipated questions getting answered feel almost unreal.

The Egghead arc might solve all these puzzles that have been pending for many years, and we’re here for it all.
