Chapter 1035 of One Piece, titled “Zoro vs. King,” is the latest addition to the manga.
In this episode, Zoro finally defeats King. Their battle had been going on for quite a while now, and King has now been vanquished once and for all. After Sanji and Zoro’s victories, it’s time for Luffy to face Kaido in the last battle that will decide their fate.
This battle is going to be the most exciting one of this arc, and with all the recent powerups, Luffy is definitely going to go all-out. Will he be able to crush Kaido after losing to him twice? We’ll find out in chapter 1036 of One Piece.

The title of the chapter is “Bushido is the way of Death,” and the first thing you will notice is Zoro cutting King’s wings and slashing his chest. King is defeated, and the news of his defeat reaches everyone, including CP0.
The All Stars and Flying Six are also defeated along with King’s defeat, but it doesn’t make much difference as long as Kaido and Big Mom are standing. As King is lying down defeated, he remembers his conversation with Kaido where he promised he would not lose until Kaido becomes the king of pirates.
The chapter panels shift to X-Drake being defeated by the CP0 and Apoo and Ibibi running away from CP0.
Luffy and Kaido fight on the roof at the end of the chapter, both tired and exhausted but can be seen having a good time.

In the latest chapter, Zoro and King’s battle comes to an end, with Zoro emerging as the victor. We learn about King’s past with Kaido and how he became his right-hand man.
King’s real appearance is also revealed, and we see that he’s a well-built man with black wings, brown skin, and white hair. King’s real name is Alber, and it was Kaido who named him King. Zoro figured out his weakness and manipulated this knowledge to defeat him finally.
In the next episode, One Piece will continue with Luffy’s battle with Kaido. Now that Kaido’s commanders are finally defeated, it’s time for Luffy to shine and beat Kaido after losing to him twice in the past.
Momonosuke’s attempt to save Onigashima could also be explored briefly. He might turn into his devil fruit form and save everyone on the Flower Capital.

5. Chapter 1035 Recap
Chapter 1035 picks up after Sanji’s battle with Queen. Sanji’s final kick sent the All-Star member flying out of the castle, defeating him once and for all.
Sanji then finds Chuji the mouse and hands it back to a worried Osome who is no longer afraid of him. He passes out shortly after, and Osome rushes to find help.
We then cut back to Zoro’s battle with King. Zoro figures out that when the flames on King’s back go out, his movements become swifter, but his defense weakens. In order to unleash his full potential, King takes off his mask for the first time, surprising everyone, including Zoro.
He appears to be a man with black wings, white hair, and brown skin. His subordinates look at him in awe and talk about the 100 million berries bounty that the World Government has placed on him. Enraged, he attacks them using Imperial Flaming Wings, completely annihilating his men.
Zoro mocks him for killing his allies and proceeds to question him about the hundred million berries tip-off. He also asks him what exactly he is, and King lashes out in response. He doesn’t answer any of Zoro’s questions and attacks him after claiming that nothing will matter to a man about to die.
Zoro realizes that he does not have much time left because his swords will drain all his energy if the fight drags on. King senses that Zoro is a threat to him and acknowledges the same.
Zoro says he feels the same way about him since his crew has ruled over Wano for a long time, and it’s time for them to leave now. King retaliates by stating that Kaido will become the king of the pirates.
A flashback ensues, and we see a young King and Kaido being the subjects of an experiment together. Kaido asks King to leave with him and form a new pirate crew. King questions whether he can change the world, and Kaido replies that he’s the only one who can.
The two escape, and we find out that King’s real name is Alber. Kaido was the one who named him King and took him under his wing. King became his right-hand man henceforth, and together they formed the Animal Kingdom Pirates.
Back to the fight, Zoro sees that King has his defenses on. He dodges his Imperial Flaming Wings and jumps at him to counter-attack with his sword. They clash, and King tries to take away Zoro’s sword.
The thought of his swords being taken away fills Zoro with pure rage, and he slices him down the middle when King lowers his defenses again.
The two exchange more attacks, and King comments on how he will remember Zoro as a feisty swordsman. Zoro says that he’ll make King remember by carving his memory on him, assuming that he’ll survive to remember.
King then launches his Extra Large Imperial Flaming Wings at Zoro, and the latter retaliates with his King of Hell, Three-Sword Serpent, 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation. King is seen getting kicked out of the castle like Queen, and this the probably the last we’ll see of him.
