Well, the story has taken a sudden turn. I’m not going to lie. This is not something I anticipated. 

If Shinobu agrees to Momonosuke’s ridiculous request, there is a strong possibility that we will get to see a full-grown Momonosuke in the upcoming chapters.

Although I’m not sure if that will have any impact on his physical prowess. I sure hope it does because it will be iconic if Momonosuke is capable of fighting like Oden. 

In that way, he will be able to support Luffy and will also be able to avenge his father.

4. Recap of Chapter 1021

Chapter 1021, titled “Demonio,” starts off with Robin finally getting serious against Black Maria.

Robin is able to overpower Black Maria temporarily with her huge form but is soon on the receiving end of the attacks.

Black Maria figures out that attacking even her huge form inflicts damage on Robin’s real body. She then uses her Devil Fruit Powers to restrain Robin and rapidly hits her with consecutive punches. 

Black Maria continues to insult Robin and tells her how she is just a burden to the crew. She also taunts her to ask Brook for help as he is nearby. 

On the other hand, Brooke warns Black Maria to watch her words as she may soon regret them.

When the battle seems to favor Black Maria, Robin recollects her memories of when she worked with the Revolutionary Army. 

Sabo and Koala persuaded Robin to learn one of their most important moves to which she agreed.

Robin decides that it is time to resort to this secret move and uses it to put the fire around her. 

She then transforms into another form that looks like a demon, stating that she does not mind becoming a devil to help her people. 

She grabs onto Black Maria and overpowers her with brute strength, defeating her. Meanwhile, Brook takes care of the onlookers who realize that their boss has been defeated.    

The chapter ends with Momonosuke asking Shinobu to use her Devil Fruit powers and make him an adult so he can transform into an enormous dragon and help Luffy.
