Kaido’s men targeted Otama to reverse the effect of her Devil Fruit Powers. Next, Who’s Who and Jinbe engaged in battle with each other. Who’s Who then triggered Jinbe by trying to probe into the history of the Fishmen.  

In chapter 1019, Zoro was given the shot so he could rejoin the battle after being injured. Luffy was rescued from the sea by Law’s crewmates. Franky faced off against Sasaki and defeated him.

Chapter 1020 of the One Piece manga has been released on Sunday, Aug 01, 2021. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.

2. Chapter 1020 Predictions and Discussions

From the events that occurred in chapter 1019, I hope we get to see Sanji and Queen go all out against each other. 

It is about time Sanji gets the same level of respect as Zoro. Obviously, Zoro will always be superior for us, but let’s not forget that Sanji is Luffy’s, left-hand man. 

Everyone is eager to see Zoro rejoin the battle now that Kaido has set him on the same level as Oden as he was able to injure him. 

Meanwhile, I hope Yamato is able to successfully deal some damage on Kaido while Luffy and Zoro regain their strength.

4. Recap of Chapter 1019

Chapter 1019, titled “Tricerocopter,” starts off with Sanji and Queen going at it against each other.

Queen uses some high-tech attacks against Sanji, to which Sanji states how Franky would be very interested in his armor.

Meanwhile, Zoro and Luffy are still recovering from their recent battle against Kaido.

After receiving Zoro’s consent, the Doctor is administering a shot in Zoro so he will be able to move and rejoin the battle. However, the Doctor warns him that the after-effects are going to be severe.

At the same time, Law’s crewmates rescue Luffy from the sea and drain all the water inside him. However, they are now confused as to which medicine to give him. As they are contemplating which medicine to give, Luffy yells out, asking for meat.

Franky faces unfavorable odds and is surprised to see headliners from Kaido’s army help him. They tell him to focus on Sasaki while they take care of the others. 

Franky and Sasaki engage in battle against each other. However, Sasaki does not want to waste any time and wants to get this over with as he wants to teach all the unloyal traitors a lesson. 

Sasaki starts spinning and uses his fatal move, ‘Triceracopter,’ which Franky just manages to evade. But, as the battle keeps going on, Franky gets overwhelmed by Sasaki’s strength.

However, in the end, as Sasaki is about to deal the final blow to Franky, he counters at the last moment and defeats him the ‘Franky Radical Beam.’

The chapter ends with Yamato and Kaido facing each other and Yamato transforming into his hybrid form to hold Kaido off till Luffy returns.
