4. Recap of Chapter 1011

In Chapter 1011, titled “Anko Standards,” there are many events taking place simultaneously.

Big Mom falls from the sky and is no longer at Kaido’s side, making it easier to battle the Two Emperors of the Sea. Kid and Killer also come down searching for Big Mom to make sure that she does not go and fight alongside Kaido again.

Luffy and Kaido’s battle has just started now that Big Mom is occupied. Both of them go at it without holding back with a massive smile on their faces expressing their excitement. 

Law takes everyone else with him down so they would not get in Luffy’s way.

In the process of searching for Big Mom, Kid and Killer encounter Hawkins, who plans on obstructing their path. Killer assures Kid that he should leave Hawkins to him and go ahead and find Big Mom as soon as he can.

At the same time, on the 2nd floor, Usopp, Nami, and Otama are being chased by Page One, one of the Tobiroppo, the strongest of the Beast Pirates. 

Usopp continuously attacks Page One with different kinds of attacks but to no avail. He is still persistent in catching the trio. 

As they try to escape from Page One, they encounter Big Mom, who is searching for Kid. She notices the Straw Hats, but before she could move on them, Otama greets her with a huge smile. 

Big Mom’s maternal instincts kick in, and she thanks Otama for looking out for her in Okobore Town when she had Amnesia. 

Otama tells her how Okobore town is no more because of Kaido’s subordinates. 

The chapter ends with the enraged Big Mom taking care of Page One, who is chasing Otama and the Straw Hats by knocking him out.
