The new bounties of the Straw Hats were finally released in chapter 1058 of One Piece, titled “New Emperors.”
A lot of stuff happened in this episode. The bounties are always a sight to behold. Luffy has reached a new milestone, and so did Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe.
We got insight into how the cross guild was formed. It wasn’t surprising to see Buggy just being used as a pawn by Mihawk and Crocodile. Unfortunately, the respect Buggy gained earlier is lost as he ends up as a clown once again.
Oh, and Dragon appeared as well. Things are steering up, and it is getting more and more exciting.

1. Chapter 1059 Raw Scans, Leaks
Spoilers for chapter 1059 “The Incident of Captain Koby” have been leaked. The chapter starts off with Shanks’ ship sailing near Sphinx Island. Shanks asks if Marco will join them but the latter declines and leaves for the island.
In a flashback, on the night of the festival after Ryokugyu’s attack, Luffy and Yamato have a conversation about why he does not want to join them. Marco arrives at the spot, telling them that he will be leaving on a ship.
At Amazon Lily island, Gloriosa and Boa Hancock look at the destruction, particularly at the center where the mountain was.
Another flashback reveals the events where the marines attack and order to dispatch the ‘Seraphim’. Blackbeard attacks them at the moment. While Koby tries to resolve the situation by de-escalating it, Boa Hancock uses her Perfume Femur to turn her enemies into stone.
Blackbeard forces Hancock to turn them back as she also turned his comrades to stone. Dark King Rayleigh appears and persuades her to comply. At the present, Rayleigh arrives on the island with Shakky, The chapter ends with the marines reporting what happened at Amazon Lily and revealing that Koby has been kidnapped.
2. Chapter 1059 Discussion
Sabo showed up (not in person) at the end of chapter 1058, and now it’s time to hear what he has to say. Dragon doesn’t seem to support him if the rumors of him murdering Cobra are true.
Mihawk and Crocodile’s move has made things more interesting. I guess the next chapter will focus on Sabo and the Revolutionary Army’s next move. Let’s wait and see what happens next time.

Nami is angry at Luffy for doing the risky move of going over the waterfall instead of taking a safer route. A seagull arrives with a newspaper and now it’s time to know everyone’s bounty.
Chopper is sad that his bounty hasn’t increased much. Franky is disappointed as well, not because of the bounty but for the photo they used. Chopper and Nami are scared to see their bounty. Robin doesn’t care about it.
Sanji is irritated that his bounty is now lower than even Jinbe’s. Zoro has the second highest bounty followed by Jinbe. Luffy’s bounty is a whopping three billion berries.
On Karai Bari Island, Mihawk and Crocodile are ready to end Buggy’s life for claiming to lead the Cross Guild. Buggy pleads with them for his life. We come to know that after the dissolution of the warlord system, Crocodile approached Mihawk and suggested teaming up together.
He wanted to form an organization that would scare the marines. They both reach Buggy’s island as Buggy has some debt he has to repay to Crocodile. He doesn’t have the money, but he offers to help Crocodile with his company by providing all the resources and working for free.
It has all been a coincidence how Buggy became an emperor. However, Mihawak thinks of using this undeserved fame, making him the figurehead. Crocodile agrees with his point.
On Momoiro Island, everyone tells Koala to cheer up as Sabo is fine. Dragon is happy that Sabo is doing well, but if the claims of him killing Cobra are true, he will never forgive Sabo no matter what.
Koala receives a call that is being tracked by the marines. On the other side, we hear Sabo’s voice.
