One Piece Artist Honors Kobe Bryant With Haki Tribute

The news of Bryant’s death was a shock to people around the world. The former Los Angeles Lakers star was one of the best players to grace the NBA.

He was an inspiration to millions of people and was the reason players like LeBron James joined the game.

On 26th January 2020, Kobe Bryant died tragically alongside his daughter, Gianna Bryant, and seven others in a helicopter crash. Recently a One Piece fan honored Kobe Bryant with an artistic tribute.

This black-and-white artwork was created by Professor Gemini to honor Kobe Bryant on behalf of the One Piece community. Luffy can be seen using one of his deadliest moves – the Black Mamba, in his Gear 4 Snakeman form.

The move utilises Haki and the fact that Luffy is rubber to let his hands extend indefinitely with sharp cuts and turns till it reaches the target.

Does that remind you of someone? The Mamba of the court himself – Kobe Bryant. The legendary player would make his opponents look like idiots with his last-minute pivots and unbelievable maneuvering of the court.

He earned the title “Mamba” with this skill and created a whole new play-style that can be seen on every basketball court around the planet.
