One Piece Anime to be on Break till April 2025

The One Piece anime has recently made huge announcements regarding the anime. Firstly, Toei Animation has declared that the anime will be going on break for a while. However, fans needn’t be so bummed, as the creators have gone to great lengths to bring us special episodes for the hiatus duration.

Since the One Piece anime has made these two announcements, this article will go into detail on the hiatus and the new TV special.

One Piece Anime To Go On Hiatus

On the 13th of October, Toei Animation announced that the anime would be going on a six-month-long hiatus till April 2025. Episode 1122 has already aired, making it the last episode until the hiatus ends. Egghead Arc Part 2 will start airing in April 2025.

This lengthy hiatus period has a valid reason though. The anime will be going on a break to gear up for the new arc, so we can expect the anime to be back with a bang. This may be quite irksome for fans, but it is an essential break that ensures that we fans will get premium quality content.

In the announcement video on YouTube by Toei Animation, it was declared that the anime will be going on a “charging period” until the second part of the Egghead arc will begin airing.
