One Piece Anime Teases Kaido’s Terrifying Zoan Power

One Piece is currently exploring Wano Kuni. As the arc unfolds, huge threats await the Strawhats as they try to topple Kaido’s regime. The eventful part of the arc, Act II of Wano Kuni, is set to begin. As a stepping stone to the arc, Kaido’s Zoan transformation has finally been revealed.

Episode 912, titled “The Strongest Man in the World! Shutenmaru, the Thieves Brigade Chief!”, teases Kaido’s terrifying Zoan form, a blue dragon.

At the end of episode 912, Kaido flies over to overlook Wano in his blue dragon form, and he is very drunk. Episode 913’s title, “Everyone is Annihilated! Kaido’s Furious Blast Breath!”, teases the fact that Kaido is about to unleash a powerful blast of flames directed at the Strawhats, currently in Oden’s Castle.

As we have seen before, Zoan devil fruit users have 3 forms, except Chopper, who can access a multitude of forms with his Rumble Ball. We have witnessed Kaido in his human form during his introduction, and his Zoan form, a blue dragon. This leaves the hybrid form of Kaido to the imagination of the viewers until the end of the arc.

Episode 913 Spoilers

Kaido holds the title of The Strongest Creature alive and is one of the Four Emperors of the New World. However, Luffy doesn’t care. Filled with rage, he charges directly at Kaido to attack. Yet, he is unable to damage Kaido’s Armor (Dragon Scales) and Kaido, intoxicated, sends Luffy flying. This makes it the second time that an Emperor knocks out Luffy with a single blow, showcasing the huge chasm of power between the two.

It is going to be a big challenge for the Strawhats to escape from the blast, and Luffy cannot take down Kaido alone. It looks like Luffy and Crew are going to have their hands full handling Kaido and his army of artificial Zoan fruit users.
