3. Episode 10 Recap

I. Turning Yamamoto into a Pawn

In Episode 10, Yamamoto hires Odokawa for another ride to negotiate on the dashcam data. He reminds him of the risks of selling the data to the Yakuza members and suggests him to deal with them instead.

Odokawa directly brings up the fact that Yamamoto runs badger games behind the Mystery Kiss idol group. He reveals that the monkey they tricked and tortured a few days ago, Kakihana, was his best friend.

Yamamoto immediately changes his tone and seeks for a way to compensate.

Odokawa asks him to betray Yano in exchange for not exposing Mystery Kiss’s evil doing to the public. As expected, Yamamoto rejects Odokawa’s idea and tries to choke him to death.

When Odokawa was about to lose consciousness, Shirakawa arrives just in time and saves him. Thanks to her makeshift martial arts skills, Yamamoto is quickly taken care of.

Despite Yamamoto’s attempt to kill him, Odokawa lets him slip. He wants him to work as his pawn and spy on Yano for him.

II. Mission Odd Taxi

Later, Dobu meets Odokawa to explain his masterplan to rob 1 billion yen from Yano. Dobu says that according to his intel, the entire sum will be given in 10 duralumin cases of 100 million each.

He has two bank employers working for him, who will fill nine out of ten boxes with fake cash. He believes that Yano will be in a hurry, so he won’t check more than 1 case to verify the cash.

This way, Dobu will effortlessly steal 900 million right under Yano’s nose. However, he won’t let the remaining 100 million go either. A police officer working under him will stop Yano’s car at a checkpoint, and Dobu will rob them.

Dobu names the mission “Odd Taxi.” He assures Odokawa that even if they get caught, no one will suspect a taxi driver of planning this robbery.
