I. A Plan to Save Kakihana
In Episode 9, Odokawa rushes to the warehouse to save Kakihana. He instructs Little Diamon to keep the cops away from this issue and says that he can deal with it by himself.
On their way to the warehouse, he picks Dobu up and asks for his assistance. Odokawa gives him an ultimatum that he will step back from the bank robbery plan if they cannot save Kakihana.
Meanwhile, Odokawa texts Kabaswa where and when Dobu will appear. It’s Odokawa’s master plan to deal with Kabasawa and Dobu at the same time.
II. The Epic Car Chase
But not everything goes according to Odokawa’d plan. A suspicious minivan appears from nowhere and starts shooting at Odokawa.
From the skull mask and the gun, we can say that it is Tanaka. He is still out there to kill Odokawa. The car chase was nothing less than a scene from any Bond film, and in the end, Odokawa somehow goes past him.
III. The Trap
Their next destination is Yano’s warehouse, where they charge in without any planning. Dobu keeps Sekiguchi occupied when Odokawa seeks in and saves Kakihand.
The taxi driver doesn’t wait for Dobu to return and drives back to the Goriki’s clinic for Kakihana’s treatment. Little did Dobu know that this was a trap set by Odokawa.
As expected, Kabasawa shows up with his recording device and faces Dobu. Even though Dobu was injured, Kabasawa stands no chance before Dobu’s fighting skills.
In the end, Dobu spares Kabasawa’s life after a motivational speech and escapes with his car. He even forces him to make an apologizing video and upload it on the internet.
IV. Kakihana’s Hearbreak
In the next scene, Kakihana gradually recovers from his injuries. But it seems that his internal scars are far more deadly. He is heartbroken and regrets loving Ichimura so much.
He goes as far as throwing their engagement ring into the river. But in the very next moment, he jumps into the river to retrieve it. Has he really moved on from Ichimura? We have to wait for the next episode to find that out.
