As Tala heads to rescue Obi-Wan from Darth Vader, Leia nearly manages to escape. Things take a turn for the worse as Leia is greeted by Reva, instead of the pilot who was supposed to escort her to safety. Reva plans to kidnap Leia, possibly to draw out Obi-Wan and lead him to Darth Vader and win his approval.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3 Recap
After narrowly escaping Reva’s clutches, Obi-Wan tries to get in contact with Qui-Gon Jinn. Meanwhile, Darth Vader rises from a Bacta tank and contacts Reva about her progress in capturing Kenobi. She lies to him and tells him that Kenobi was the one that murdered the Grand Inquisitor. Reva and the Fifth Brother have a disagreement over who should take the Grand Inquisitor’s role next to Darth Vader.
Meanwhile, Obi-Wan and Leia set out on a journey to find a space port on their own after Estree’s contact fails to come through. It is clear that Obi-Wan is struggling to process the news that Anakin is still alive and experiences a vision of him. They manage to hitch a ride with an alien named Freck who also picks up a group of stormtroopers along the way. As the stormtroopers begin to question them, Freck grows increasingly suspicious of the two and stops at an Imperial checkpoint, forcing Obi-Wan to take down the stormtroopers.
Before the situation can escalate further, Tala rescues the two and takes them to a secret bunker. As she is about to lead them to safety, Obi-Wan senses Darth Vader’s presence. He hands over Leia to Tala and tries to buy some time while she’d led to safety. He draws his lightsaber and an epic battle ensues between the two. Vader manages to overpower Obi-Wan and nearly kills him before he is rescued by Tala.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Star Wars spinoff series directed by Deborah Chow for Disney+. It premiered on May 27, 2022 on Disney+.
