Nvidia RTX 3070 is now set to release on October 29 following a postponement of two weeks.
Many believe that this was done to steal the spotlight from AMD Radeon RX 6000 series that launches on October 28, Nvidia clarified that this move was undertaken to make the GPU readily available for customers.
The console vs PC debate is something we have all come across. No one, I guess, is really neutral as everyone has a preference when it comes to this topic. I prefer PC over consoles. My main reason being that a PC provides economic viability.
Thus like me, many players seem to be more inclined towards PC and are always on the lookout for high-end graphic cards.
One amazing graphics card that is ready to hit the market is Nvidia RTX 3070. Expected to launch on October 13, fans will now have to wait for two more weeks to get their hands on this pocket-friendly graphic card.
In a statement, Nvidia announced
“Production of GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards are ramping quickly. We’ve heard from many of you that there should be more cards available on launch day.
To help make that happen, we are updating the availability date to Thursday, October 29th. We know this may be disappointing to those eager to purchase a GeForce RTX 3070 as soon as possible, however this shift will help our global partners get more graphics cards into the hands of gamers on launch day.”
One should really get behind Nvidia for trying to make the entire process of obtaining their GPU a smooth ride.
As this time the company looks adamant to not repeat the complications that RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 posed. Both cards had such high demand in the market that soon after their release, they were out of stock.
Another fly in the ointment was the crashing of RTX 3080 which was further resolved through a driver update.
Now with RTX 3070, Nvidia promises to deliver “similar or faster performance than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.” Thus, fans are hoping that no issues will be encountered this time.
