Almost every kid in the 2000s has either heard about or owned a Beyblade. This franchise based on spinning tops blew up at the beginning of the new century, reinventing an old toy to battle worthy standards.
Beyblade Franchise’s official Youtube channel began streaming the 2001 anime’s first episode from Friday. The first episode is available in North America, most of South America, Europe, Australia, and parts of Africa in English and Latin American Spanish.
The 2001 anime brought with it never before seen characters, toys, and some thrilling adventures. No matter how many animes enter the franchise, nothing can beat the original 2001 anime.
We loved watching Tyson, Max, Kai, Ray, and Chief work together as the bladebreakers, competing in world tournaments and making a mark on the Beyblade world.
Watching the show took almost all of us to the closest toy store to get our hands on a Beyblade that our favorite characters owned. Be it Dragoon, Dranzer, Draciel, or Drigar. It became a phenomenon with kids around the block coming together to face each other in battle and see who’s Beyblade prevails.
This news has taken us back to our childhood, and all we can say now is “3,2,1 Let It Rip.”
