New Valheim Mod Lets You Be the Humongous Viking You Deserve to Be

From time to time, Valheim’s massive map makes one feel irrelevant and infinitesimal, just like how we usually feel in the human world. Obviously this is not the most welcome feeling. But, thanks to this new Valheim mod, you can now assert true dominance by changing their bone size to become not just the “next big thing”, but the largest being to exist in all of the Norse realms.

BoneMod by an0nymooose allows you to customize your character’s bones by changing their scale via chat commands. By simply entering commands in the chat pane, you can scale and stretch your standard-issue Viking skeleton to any and every extreme possible in 3D.

Additionally, the mod also is not limited to overall height or one body part: the mod can give you a giant head, massive hands or make you tower over your base with absurd ease. All you need to do, along with having the mod installed and with BepInEx mod already in place, is hit Enter to open the chat window and then type in your commands.

Here’s what else you need to know:

• all commands start with !bm, followed by the body part, followed by a value between 1 and 10

• You can scale your bones equally by entering a single value. For instance, !bm head 10 will enlarge your head to truly giant proportions

• You can also input values on x, y, and z axes. !bm head 4 7 3 will adjust the width, height, and depth separately

• !bmreset brings your Viking bones back to the factory setting

• If you log out with your bones all maxed out, they will be back to normal and understandable-to-your-brain proportions when you log back in

While this mod seems like an absolute banger right from the onset, it has a few small issues. Firstly, nobody you play with will be able to see your freakishly large body unless they have the mod installed too. Secondly, if any other Valheim players on the server share your name, they might be subject to all the tinkering that you are doing with your viking without their consent.

So, enlarge with care.
