The ‘from Argonavis’ franchise has always been more than just a musical of pretty boys singing mesmerizing tunes. It has shown us the reality of this industry of stardom, the pain, the efforts that go into making one successful, and whatnot.
Due to these aspects of the story, even non-musical lovers enjoy this anime and have made it popular enough to receive a second film.
As all musical movies need a rocking insert song, the latest trailer for ‘Argonavis the Movie: Axia’ has revealed the one for this film debuting on March 24, 2023.
The song is titled ‘Ragnarök’ and is performed by the in-story band, Syana.
Besides the song, the video also teases some childhood memories of Nayuta Asahi, leader of the band GYROAXIA. It shows that this fearsome-looking vocalist was once a child filled with innocence and a passion for music inspired by the band Syana.
However, Nayuta’s life fell apart soon because his father abandoned him and his mother. If that wasn’t enough, his father’s reason for leaving the family was that he thought of Nayuta as a worthless and terrible vocalist.
Soon, this trauma resulted in Nayuta becoming aggressive and a perfectionist, leading to GYROAXIA’s falling apart in Tokyo. The movie will feature the band splitting and going their different ways while trying to figure themselves out.
This movie will be about GYROAXIA’s struggle to unite as a band and find harmony. However, that can only happen if the members find peace within themselves.
Nayuta is a difficult leader to deal with, and he started GYROAXIA to take revenge on his father. This has already created many problems, and Nayuta will have to change as a leader to make this band the kind of success he wants it to be.
Argonavis The Movie: Axia is an upcoming movie by Bushiroad’s From Argonavis franchsie. It will be directed by Shigeru Morikawa.
The film follows the band Gyroaxia as rumors of their seperation go viral. Amid the chaos, the band’s vocalist Nayuta Asahi reminisces about his father, Koga Iryu, abandoning him and his mother. Nayuta wants to get back at Koga by making Gyroaxia the best band there is.
