Original mixed-media franchises like Bullbuster and Technoroid will arrive next year with their anime. We are a couple of weeks away from watching Technoroid Overmind. The series has recently given us a first look at how the animated series would look like.
On December 19, the official website for the Technoroid franchise released a promotional video, reintroducing KNoCC. The video also revealed the opening and ending theme songs for the series.
KNoCC has performed the opening song “Love No Hate”. The ending song “Invisible -one heart-“ is collaboratively performed by KNoCC and Stand-Alone.
We do get a pretty clear picture of the animation by watching the above trailer, especially where the members are performing on stage. Technoroid Overmind is set to release on January 4, 2023, along with a manga to be published on Alphapolis on the first Thursday of every month.
The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka in Japan, followed by TV Nagasaki on January 21. It will also stream on multiple platforms like Abema, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, DMM TV, and d Anime Store.
Earlier, the franchise also released a mobile game, Technoroid Unison Heart, on January 21, 2022. The anime does seem flashy, but just right for a futuristic and post-apocalyptic series where the protagonists are idols.
About Technoroid Overmind
Technoroid is a multimedia project by Noriyasu Agematsu in collaboration with Elements Garden and RUCCA. It comprises an anime titled TECHNOROID OVERMIND, a smartphone game called Technoroid Unison Heart, music, and a manga series.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world submerged in water and has an enlarged sun due to climate change. Here, humans and androids are entertained by musical units that compete to get on top of the entertainment tower, Babel.
