This brilliant anime premiered in September and had us hooked on it from the very first episode. Its plot has been going on steadily enough that the upcoming episode 5 will mark the end of act 1.
The latest trailer for ‘I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss’ teases the beginning and story for the anime’s second arc.
It starts by showing Aileen getting engaged to Claude and the couple experiencing temporary peace in their lives before the next storm.
Soon after their happy and wholesome moments, a new problem arises in Claude’s life, and Aileen is bent on eradicating it. She disguises herself as a man and infiltrates the Misha Academy and its students.
While Claude is worried about his fiancee’s well-being, the latter is out doing dangerous things to protect her lover. One after the other, things start making sense due to Aileen’s interference, and a new villain comes into their life.
This new story, or the anime’s second act, is based on the otome game’s part 2 set in the Misha Academy. Its protagonist is Selena Gilbert, an academy student with various other new characters making a debut.
The franchise has also revealed a new visual featuring Selena, Aileen as a man, and others with Claude and James in the background. Along with Selena, James might be the new protagonist and Claude’s enemy this time.
