JTBC’s Snowdrop keeps on getting intense as the premiere dates come close.
After a thrilling teaser trailer, new stills released by My Daily on December 12 show off Jang Seung-jo, and Jung Yoo-jin’s characters face each other off in their introductory preview stills.
Jang Seung-jo plays Lee Kang-moo, the head of the investigation team at the National Security Planning Agency. He is described as relentless, head-straight-at-work, and uncompromising under any circumstance.
Meanwhile, Jung Yoo-jin plays Jang Han-na, an equally fiery and relentless agent of his team. She is described as a force to be reckoned with, along with being a hot-tempered and strong-willed agent.
The newly released stills showcase their power dynamics and put the spotlight on their workplace relationship.
Lee Kang-moo is seen sitting at a table with a cane in his hand and a grief-stricken gaze. Behind him are case details written on a huge paper board. The sorrowful eyes raise curiosity among fans as one wonders what kind of dark secrets the agent’s backstory might hold.
In contrast, Jang Han-na looks stern in her stills while holding a pistol against men pointing guns at her. She seems calm and resolute, further showcasing that she never backs (or breaks) down.
It will be exciting to see what roles the two agents would play in the bigger story and if the chalk-and-cheese individuals would ever come together to defeat the bad guys.
Snowdrop may have a major chunk of its story dedicated to BLACKPINK Jisoo and Jung Hae-in’s love story. Still, a significant part of it is the intricate storyline of the political conspiracy and warfare.
As expected, the period romantic-thriller drama has all eyes on it , especially its stellar cast. Catch Snowdrop on December 18 at 10:30 PM KST on JTBC and later on Disney+.
