We love Rick and Morty in English. But it is now time to love them in Japanese.
AdultSwim, in collaboration with Sola Entertainment, aired “The Great Yokai Battle of Akihabara,” an 11-minute long animated short for the Rick and Morty animated television series, on Sunday.
The animated short will follow Rick and Morty on their quest to discover the perfect screw in Akihabara to fix Rick’s toaster.
As usual, their quest will not be simple, as they will face off against an old nemesis along the way, according to AdultSwim.
Following the release of a 5-minute animated short titled “Samurai & Shogun,” this animated short arrives a whole year later. Masaru Matsumoto of Sola Entertainment is the director of the short.
Youhei Tadano and Keisuke Chiba reprise their roles as Rick and Morty, respectively, and contribute their voices to make this short series great.
It’s no surprise that Rick and Morty is a hit with fans. It’s entertaining and binge-worthy, thanks to its absurd comedy and simplistic animation.
Don’t take our word for it. Check out the latest animated short titled “The Great Yokai Battle of Akihabara” on Youtube today!
