New Release Date For Major Movies

It’s not new for movie release dates to jump around the calendar. However, we’ve noticed an unusual set of circumstances caused by COVID-19. A lot of movies that were due out in 2020, are finally arriving in 2021. But though a vaccine has already started to roll out across the globe, studios are still uncertain as to when people will feel comfortable returning to theaters.

With that in mind, we have a list of release dates (subject to change), along with information on where a theatrical release is day-and-date with a streaming release as will be the case with all Warner Bros. movies in 2021.

Here are some of the most-awaited movies even though almost every movie on this chart has made its fans wait for over a year.

• Wrath of Man: (7th May) Mysterious and wild-eyed, a new security guard for a cash truck surprises his co-workers when he unleashes precision skills during a heist. The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from. Soon, the marksman’s ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.

• Black Widow: (9 July) At birth the Black Widow (aka Natasha Romanova) is given to the KGB, which grooms her to become its ultimate operative. When the U.S.S.R. breaks up, the government tries to kill her as the action moves to present-day New York, where she is a freelance operative.

• Spider-Man: No Way Home: (17 Dec) There is no official plot synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home right now but it will most certainly deal with the repercussions of Spider-Man: Far From Home’s ending. Spidey was accused of being a drone-controlling terrorist and J. Jonah Jameson made an appearance to reveal the superhero’s secret identity as Peter Parker.

• Space Jam: A New Legacy: (16 July) NBA superstar LeBron James teams up with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes for this long-awaited sequel.

• Mortal Kombat: (23 April) Mortal Kombat is a mysterious, intergalactic tournament of ancient martial arts. Shaolin Monk Liu Kang, from Earth, gets invited as a competitor.

• Cruella: (28 May) A live-action feature film following the evil exploits of Cruella de Vil, the villain from the Disney film, “101 Dalmatians’

• Venom: Let There Be Carnage: (24 Sept) Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Venom, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and Tencent Pictures.
